With no wire to bury set up time is literally done in minutes. Just place the transmitter of the wireless dog fence in the desired location and plug it in. A wireless dog fence only transmits in a circular pattern resembling a bubble. Once the transmitter has been set up it is good practice to mark the boundary with boundary flags every 10 feet apart. This gives your pet a visual aid to know where the boundary is located.
